VetBiz Registry Profile for all Veteran-owned Business Owners

It’s not just the SAM.Gov profile that you have to maintain, there is also a VetBiz Registry, which is a center for the veteran enterprise. The registry contains NAICS codes and a description of your capabilities. I highly recommend you to update it periodically. This is specifically important for those, who are not receiving any emails or nobody is reaching out to them.

I would highly recommend you to go to your CVE VetBiz Registry Profile and look at your NAICS codes. Make sure that these NAICS codes are relevant. If there is any additional work that you may have done that has different NAICS codes then you need to add them, as well. Sometimes the government may identify the same product or service that you have under a different NAICS code because its description is very similar. I would highly recommend you to be extra cautious during this step because it used to be a one-day process but now it takes weeks due to the rigorous verification process.

I get phone calls every year, where my NAICS code matches the requirements that they have and I have managed to get two multi-year contracts for my clients based on it.
