Being Prepared for the Government and Real Scenarios

The government as a customer expects you to have a website with information related to the Government. If you want the government to think that you understand the government and want their business, you need to have something on your website related to the government. Most companies keep a government section in the menu bar, with basic information like:

1) DUNS Number

2) CAGE Code

3) Tax ID

4) NAICS Code

5) Capability Statement

Having a capability statement on the website has become a de facto standard just like a business card. One of my clients received a call from a government representative that asked them about their website. When they went to their website, the first thing they visited was the government page that ultimately had a positive impact on them.

A website is a standard these days, no matter what industry you operate in or what services you offer. This does not have to be fancy and you don’t need to spend tens of thousands of dollars, but you should have a website with a dedicated government page.
